Returns, refunds & cancellations

These terms describe how CM Beauty handles returns and refunds. Nothing here limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) or the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act (ECTA).

Before dispatch

You may cancel a paid order before it is dispatched for a full refund of everything you paid, including the initial delivery charge.

Additional delivery costs

Your checkout total includes an initial delivery charge. Where the destination, size or weight of your parcel means delivery costs more, we will tell you the balance before dispatch and only collect it with your agreement. If you decline the extra cost, you may cancel for a full refund of everything you paid, including the initial delivery charge. We never charge extra delivery automatically.

After dispatch (ECTA cooling-off)

Our standard catalogue products are not custom or personalised goods. Where ECTA applies to your purchase, you may cancel within 7 days of receiving the goods; we will refund all payments made, including the original delivery charge, within 30 days of your cancellation, and only the direct cost of returning the goods may be charged to you.

Change of mind

If you change your mind, contact us within 7 days of receiving your order. Items should be unused and sealed, subject to your statutory rights and any exceptions the law allows. We will confirm how to return them.

Wrong, damaged, leaking or defective items

If you receive the wrong item, or an item that is damaged, leaking or defective, CM Beauty will provide an appropriate remedy and cover the necessary return or replacement costs. Please tell us promptly — preferably within 48 hours of delivery — and send photos where possible. Reporting later does not forfeit your rights; it simply helps us resolve the problem quickly.

Unsafe or defective goods (CPA)

Under the CPA, goods that are unsafe, defective or not of good quality may be returned within 6 months of delivery, and you may choose a refund, replacement or repair. An opened product does not automatically lose these rights.

Delays

If your expected dispatch date changes, we will tell you promptly. You may choose to wait or cancel for a full refund of what you paid for the affected items.

How refunds are paid

Refunds are paid to the original payment method or by bank transfer, within 30 days of an agreed cancellation or return.
